Mango Lime Chutney

A good condiment to serve with chicken, pork, beef and fish. Also good mixed into cooked rice.

Makes approx. 1 1/2 cups

  • 1 mango, ripe, chopped

  • 1T local honey or maple syrup (see Food List)

  • Zest and juice of 1 lime

  • about 2T red onion, chopped

  • about 2T red pepper, chopped

  • about ½ fresh jalapeño, minced

  • season with salt (see Food List)

Also good with pineapple substituted for the mango.
